Q and A

1. looking for cases for iPad Air 2

Go to Central Computing - they have many inexpensive cases.

The Infinity cases ($10) are recommended.

Take a look at e-grips.

2. Mac Mini is getting SMART alerts for its SSD drive. The alerts are for a high wear level.

You must replace the drive immediately.

Make a backup now, then replace.

3. MacLife Magazine mentions Little Snitch. What do members think?

A member is using it. It monitors outbound network connections. It allows you to configure trusted applications for outbound connections. It is essentially a more configurable firewall.

4. How can I make a bootable backup on an external drive, with encryption.

We suggest making a non-encrypted boot drive, and separately back up the critical data.
