1. Reinstall of Leopard - what is the receipts? Does it need to be copied into the reinstallation?
This is the history of installed software, which is useful for uninstalls of the software, or when repairing permissions.
You probably want to archive the files, but not copy into the the reinstallation.
In a related idea, when moving a user folder from one machine to a another, log in as root, move the folder, then change all enclosed items to the desired username.
2. Just brought a WD 4 TB (2x2TB) under RAID 0, with one disk to back up the other. Are there issues about partitioning a RAID?
One member reports that brand of the drives can make a difference in the success of partitioning, perhaps due to the differences in bridge chips. For example, sometimes bootability is supported for above 2 TB via USB, but not via Firewire.
Western Digital will not certify their drives for bootability under any system.

Use the Mac Book as the target disk connected to the Powerbook.

Our mail list is getting job offers, both directly and from recuitment offices. Most of these are denied. Some are not. Some former presenters want to post job openings. What should we do?
One member notes that this can be a good thing - perhaps we might fork the mailing list into "chat" and "offers".
Another member notes he got a job via a offer posted by another club.
We could require vendor registration, and charge a dollar per posting.
We can try a trial period where such are allowed.
